The President's Pleasure
President Alan Telfer has the great honour to welcome you to an audience with farmer and comedian Jim Smith.
Jim grew up in Blairgowrie and worked on his father's farm from an early age. As a 16-year-old, he joined the Young Farmers, and it became instrumental in helping him in transitioning to the Stand-up Comedy circuit.
Jim is still a working farmer and has to contend with all that a farmer's life throws at him. This has endowed him with a rich tapestry of life experience, anecdotes, and stories both on stage and as a farmer.
Entrance is free to members and guests/visitors. NB There is a raffle, so please bring a prize and/or some cash to buy raffle tickets.
